The location, right on the Golden Rock, is very unique. Of course you can also pay for this. It seems that a lot has been invested in more comfort here, our room was much nicer than expected, spacious and with a new, nice bathroom. The mood on the Golden Rock when the last truck drove into the valley is very special and justifies the price halfway

Restaurant' with long rows of tables is reminiscent of mass processing. There is no ambience whatsoever. Breakfast was very simple.

Amazing view from the terrace. Free tea, monks' singing, cozy night, comfortable bed. Asian breakfast left nothing to be desired.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel in the mountains. The location was perfect, situated on the edge of the mountain, allowing for breathtaking views from the terrace. It was a short and convenient walk to both the cable car and the Golden Rock, without the need for heavy luggage. The staff were exceptional, providing personal care and answering all my questions about the area. They were friendly, accommodating, and many of them spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was satisfying and the evening meals offered a variety of tasty and affordable options from Chinese, Thai, and Myanmar cuisines.
